Branding an Established Roofing Company
Listen to our featured Ask Those Branding Guys radio show podcast: Brian McPartlon Roofing
Hello, I’m Jim Glover, That Branding Guy, for Once a Day Marketing™. On our radio show Ask Those Branding Guys, we discussed branding and marketing of a Santa Fe roofing company.
Joining us on the show was Mark Berning, CFO of Brian McPartlon Roofing Company, a family owned enterprise doing business and part of the Santa Fe community for over 30 years.
McPartlon differentiates themselves through high quality along with attention to detail and the amount of care they provide to clients. Their desire is to build an ongoing relationship based on trust. As a result, referrals are the number one sales lead generator for McPartlon.
Employees of McPartlon are brand ambassadors. From initial hiring, each individual is made aware of the company mission and vision along with the expectation that they are to fulfill both when interacting with customers.
Mark shared that tactics used to get their marketing message out include daily spots on both radio and in print media. Sponsorship of local events also puts a spotlight on McPartlon’s community focus.
Branding challenges include how best to engage with social media, keep up with fast paced changes and identify and generate content for meaningful updates. Glover stated that it remains important to maintain a strong presence in social media. Businesses that are very savvy can eclipse a business with a better product because they are able to get to the customers first.
Mark offered one tip to all small businesses: Define who you are and follow through on that brand identify.
Enjoy the show.
